Doc, don''t know if you''ve seen yet, but I got an e-mail from K&N today that they finally have a CAI for an 08 H3. The part # is 77-3065KP. It has the same open setup as their other ones. I like the look of your much better so I''m on board as soon as they''re ready. I don''t know if this fits the Alpha though.

K&N does show two parts # for 2008s, but not the Alpha. However, try and find one? Soon I am sure. KUDOS to K&N!! Still no stock filter replacement. So now we will be second with the 2008. If I could only type.

Well, I/we knew all along their 07 system would work on 08s because they do not use the factory air filter box. They just needed to verify it on a 2008 truck, which takes time when you are as big as they are. Why leave in the resonator?? IDK, could be just because it''s easier for them, but I can tell ya, that resonator box robbs power.

Somebody, in another thread I think, asked me if the 07 Volant would fit an 08. I said no because the 07 and 08 MAFs are different? But.....if the 08 MAF fits into the 07 hole and will seal, then it might? Volant does not show an 08 application yet. So, if I were a politician, I would say maybe?

It shows a replacement panel filter for 08 Alpha when I enter in the info on K&N.com. Won''t this fit in your kit Doc? How much will the 08 Alpha Kit be? Starting to get a twitch now.... Thanks!

Part # 33-2408 For the 2008 H3 and Alpha!!!!!!!! $56.48 retail, availability???? Says in stock. Link: http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?Prod=33-2408 Josh, you da man brud. I been checking the filter sites every Monday, and that was not on the K&N site 3 days ago. Good news 08 owners. Here''''s the deal, I been testing with the stock filters, kinda like having sex with your clothes on.. .. exciting, but you don''''t get the lob done. I have to get some of these filters ASAP, throw them at my testers, and then, assuming all is good, we are off. I will let you all know. Meanwhile, K&Ns are good filters, and you guys may want to start getting them regardless if you are gonna do a performance/CAI kit?

Doc, how long do you test before making them available? I''m getting one now but will switch to the CAI as soon as I can get one.

Josh, where did you order yours from? When I go to the K&N website they just give me places to buy it. I called a few places and no one near me has it yet.

I''ve had a couple 2008 H3s, and just one Alpha, on the road for quite a while with the stock filters. So all I need to do is check out (what I basically already know) that it all works with a performance filter the way I expect, and I will then be comfortable. Like I am from Missouri.... show me. I listened to my grandfather when I spent time with him in Colorado over many summers....he would say.....if you are gonna do something make sure to "do it right the first time". It will not take long. I will do my best.

I agree, it''s better to work out any bugs ahead of time since it''ll be harder to get things straightened out if something goes wrong after you send a bunch out.

Ok I waded through a few pages of this, and didnt see H2 SUTs mentioned. Do ya have one for them ? :) Would rather get a custom made job than spend $400+ on a namebrand that does the same thing :)
