HAD to share this:

My stupid neighbor has been outside ALL DAY shoveling his sidewalk, it's dropping almost an inch an hour so I'm just waiting until it's finished. That's what 17 yr old sons are for

Anyway, he is out there shoveling his driveway while the city has 2 pickup's with plow's on them going up down the road. The plow goes by he just drops his arms down and watches, gets mad and starts shoveling the snow back into the road. About the time he gets it clear, he comes by again and pushes it back into his drive. The whole thing starts over again. I know this doesn't translate well into words, but it's funny as hell to watch

I was looking forward to watching this guy work his tail off for nothing. How many times did the snow plow come by before he figured it out?

Had to be like 4-5 times, laughing my butt off. I have about 3 neighbors that do this every time it snows. They will be out the whole time it snows shoveling. Maybe it's just me, but I wait until it's finished and do it once.

Yea, I think they are getting too lazy for that. Haven't seen one kid out doing that yet. All of the parents are doing it. I didn't have a choice when I was a kid, it snowed, you shoveled. The grass grew, you mowed it. Didn't ask if it was needed, just did it. Must be nice, my step kids are the same way though. MY oldest son is pretty good about things, but My two step (really consider them mine, just stating the difference. I wasn't around for their "formative" years) AND my youngest boy are all pretty much the same. You almost have to argue with them to get them to do anything.

When I was a kid, I just saw dollar signs when it snowed. I even bought my own shovel.

I only saw snow a few times when I was growing up and never enough to have to shovel.
