I'm having a problem sending pics and video from my phone to my desktop via the HotSync cable.
Any phone or computer guru's out there that can help, or point me in the right direction?

did you install the driver on your PC? the cable only connects the two but you still need a driver on your PC so that it can communicate with your treo. should be able to download what you need at the treo website.

The Treo's use the Palm Desktop software, aka IntelliSync. Usually IntelliSync only allows you to synchronize Calendar, Contacts, Inbox, Memos and Tasks, depending on what program you use as a personal organizer. I haven't used a Treo too much, but with IntelliSync you used to have to have a third-party application or program installed to do actual file transfers. The Treo probably stores images on a memory card. I'll look up the manual tomorrow and see if I can help you out. I do all the cell phone and Blackberry support for my lawfirm so I have experience with this. I think there are a couple of attorneys that have Treos but since we don't officially support them I haven tused them in a while.

Yep, those are the only applications it has. I thought for sure there was a way to import pictures though.

According to the manual, there is a Media transfer option using HotSync, but I havent had alot of time today to look into it further. I know it's referred to as Media Transfer.

Are you using the HotSync Palm Desktop software?

when i have a chance i'll look at the manual a little more
