Hey whats up i just bought my hummer 4 months ago and drove it cross country and loved it. But  when i was driving to the mall, Some lady stop to make a turn the guy in front of me stoppped, then i stop topped but a roofing companys flast bed mac truck didnt and ass rapped me. He was at fault for all 3 other accidents cause it caused a chain of accidents after. But 30 seconds after i got hit onstar was there called the cops fire and amublance(onstar is badass now in my book). The damage done broken left rear leaf spring broke the retaining clips that hold it together rear im pretty sure he hit the spare so the trunk is bent. . Hit me so hard it poped my gas cap off, my mountain dew can that was in the back seat cup holder flew and hit the radio. The front end is pretty much destroyed , it cracked the radaitor in half and pushed it back to the engine, i saw water leaking from the engine so the water pump is def cracked, headlights smashed grill flew off and the hood, he also bent my exhaust. My front end(the body part) was pushed back like a foot or so from the d-hooks on the front of the frame. the most surprising thing is that the air bags did not go off. But if i was in my old car a 2002 rsx i think they would have had to cut the car up to get me out. So i think i might go with another h3 or i might go with something sport but after this accident my mom decided that a hummer would be her next car she has been looking to get a new car since i bought mine.

I think gm deserves  5 stars for how great they made this truck. I am very very pleased with this car and thank God i was wearing my seatbelt. And if the hummer dealer wasnt so far away i would be looking at which one would be my next.

But my last question is does this thing sound totalled i will have picture up tommorow, and i think i will be in the newspaper cause it have like right down the street from the local newspaper and a reporter ran out with a camera.

there drivers door was pushed under the fender and the doors dont line up any more. The picture of the bump stop is my frame bent. Oh and the trunk wont open either cause its samshed in. And by the trunk glass the body is a lil crmped from the impack. So would you say this is totaled?

Holy cow what a bad deal with a new truck.  Sorry to hear you took a such a bad shot but glad you weren't hurt.  I have to say you are a better man than me...positive attitude and all.  I hope it all works out for you.

Did you get hurt? You'll probably be feeling poorly in a day or two. I would go to see a doctor just to be on the safe side. Just because you're not hurting now doesn't mean something won't develop in a few days or even weeks from now.

Sorry to hear about your accident, at least you weren't seriously injured. So, would you say that the Consumer Reports Report was full of ****?

Hope it all works out for you. Let us know

If the roofing company has insurance then your deductable won't come into play. Their insurance should pay for it all. Glad you are ok. Not sure, the truck sounds pretty torn up. personally if I walked away from a wreck that bad unhurt I would be hard pressed not to buy another of those cars. I have three Hummers and its partly because I know how safe me and my family are in one. Let us know how it turns out.

Glad to hear your ok but go get checked out, I was disabled in my car accident(4runner into my Eclispe). The day I got hit I thought I was ok, it wasn't until the the next day when I calmed down did I realize my lower back was FUBAR.  I got hit from behind sitting at a redlight so think about getting checked out.  As for the HUMMER is sounds totalled and if it was me I would buy another one.  You know first hand on how safe they are.
