Just heard on the news that there was an explosion at an army recruiting center in Times Square NYC. Apparently they have video of a man on a bike leaving the scene. The NYPD released that it was an explosive device and was not accidental.

Berkeley is highly anti-military and I guess actually against almost everything else America stands for. NYC isn't that bad but not my kind of place. Figured if military locations were being targeted in NYC I would lump them in with Berkeley.

the Berkeley city council passed an ordinance stating that the Marine recruiting station in town was unwelcome and they're banned from the campus. they've since backed down some, but the attitude hasn't changed. they "claim" to support our troops, but they're as un-American as you can get. they don't realize the reason behind the freedom they have to pass idiotic ordinances like that and not be beaten to a bloody pulp in the basement of a gulag inside the arctic circle.

after 9/11 NYC is anything but anti-military....I see signs of support every day in NYC. Something about soldiers killing the towel heads that killed our family members do that to ya

anyway...my post was support for Rhill as he is a recruiter...at the time I posted it was breaking news and officials didn't know if it was going to be an isolated incident or if terrorists were going to be attacking recruiting centers across the country.

Sorry I didn't respond to this, didn't see it until now. We had a mass email that came in, we had to search our Govt cars, trash cans, check out all around the office. We were expecting TV crews, apparently they are using that technique also. We were told to make sure that we check them out to see if they are who they say they are. They day ended pretty uneventful, thank god. At least the guy in NY hit the place at 0400 so that nobody got hurt.

Thanks for thinking of me on this though.
