I just got a unconfirmed email saying that the BADLANDS HAS BEEN SOLD.....

Anyone hear anything like this???

I have not heard that. Half of Moab has been bought also.

Hopefully some offroad friendly group bought it and not one of the save the whales groups.

Looks like a guy named Kyle Knops bought it. He has operated other off road parks. Terry Myers is staying on for a few months during the transition. Official transfer date is supposed to be 4.1.08. ( wonder if that means it is a joke )

Yes, the Badlands off-road park was sold. It's the park in Indiana, NOT the entire range in South Dakota. This may be a good thing because the family who bought it are very active in the off-road community and are very familiar with running a park. It can only be a good thing in my eyes. We'll find out in a couple of weeks. I'll probably be heading there, although I'm not 100% sure yet.

The people that I've talked to that know Kyle say him taking over is a good thing. You are right, time will tell but at least a conservation group didn't buy it to try to save some frog.

Kyle owned Paragon Adventure Park before it was taken out from under him in an attempt to build a Cargo Airport near Hazleton, PA. Glad to see him get back in the saddle and owning another great park.
