Gidday guys. Thought you might be interested in how we go in Aussie with the H3. Got mine in October 07 and have fitted a 4" Rancho kit with 35" Mickey Thompson MTZ's on 17" rims and GME UHF. Am currently finishing off a cargo barrier with a turbo going on in the next week as well as a dual battery.

Idea is to set it up as a 2 person tourer but we also get off orad for fun as you can see in the pics.

Sounds interesting but I don't see any pics. Try to post the pics again. Welcome to the forum. How do you like the Rancho lift. I have talked to several people that said they thought it rode pretty rough.

Hi 3hummers..hope it works this time. I have been very pleased with the rancho kit. Ground clearance is good and I find the ride much like original. I had expected more body roll but it didn't eventuate.

I am new to forums and not having much luck with getting the pics on. I uploaded them and it said it was ok but they dont seem to show. Any suggestions??

Pics came through the second time. Glad because I am the original technological dinosaur and am not much use when it comes to advising people how to do stuff like that. I see you already have the Rocky Road Sliders. Truck looks great. Glad to see you are already out playing in it.

Welcome..........

Rancho lift and Mickeys....Damn, that must be standard issue from Hummer for their down under customers.....

I wonder if that is the same Off Road Park Skippy was romping about in?

You haven't seen this guy around have you?

BTW: Anybody else notice how they have the front marker/turn signal lenses setup......? Not flat like ours....

Thanks for the nice comments guys.

Doc you are looking at it from the wrong side...you have be down under to get the right perspective!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone have a Predator Winch system on their H3?

The local accessory guys here are pretty slow getting aftermarket gear organised. They are only bringing 2,000 a year into Oz so it isn't a high priority for them. With all due respect, the brushguards don't really look like they would handle being hit by a kangaroo. ARB are working on a steel bullbar but I haven't seen what it looks like yet.

Hi Gunner

Skippy uses the same mechanic as I do and duplicated my set up.They say being copied is the greatest compliment.

Unfortunately Skippy has had some trouble keeping his rig in one piece. I just wish when people talk about "the #$%@head in the Hummer at Landcruiser" they would nominate a colour to differentiate us.

But seriously I am really happy with the H3 and the offroad performance.

Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa ! ! ! !

Now that is some funny shlt right there.

If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, I bet 'ol Skippy wishes he would have
flattered your arse off by copying your decision to add OEM Rock Rails.........

Funny part is, I have the exact same thing here in Texas with some dude that goes by "Hummer Driver". Only
difference is, both rigs are black. I have at least one false sighting a week where I am supposedly dropping
off kids at the probation officer, frequenting massage parlors or other adult entertainment venues as well as
various and sundry "Free clinics". I still say I need to go by his place and paint a big 'ol lime green "R" on both
sides of his truck so people can tell 'em apart.

Mate that is hilarious.

We were offroading last wekend and some trail bike guys were coming the other way and my mate said to one of them...watch out, a Hummer is about to come up and the trail bike guy said...not the ****head who was at Landcruiser and dropped it on the stump!!

You are obviously a man of great integrity and honour who would firstly have the good sense to use a mates car and secondly,go in the rear entrance of those sorts of places anyway!!!!!!

Mate you are not sneaking in anywhere in a Hummer not noticed in Oz!!!!!

So...You are saying, Skippy has a reputation and it precedes him.......

As for my situation, there is that upside of blaming all manner of improprieties
on poor 'ol Hummer Driver........Really boss, that wasn't me at the Ball Park,
it was the dude in THAT OTHER Hummer that looks like mine.....I guess it can
work both ways.

BTW: Just got done reading about one of your down under brethren who flew
into Melbourne picked up his new (Yankee Trash) H2 and drove it 4125 KM home to Perth.

Had some pretty nice pictures......

LOL What a great read so far. Hi Guys, Yet another lad from downunder.
This is so funny, why you ask  Well hang on and I'll tell ya all about it.
I was also at the same 4wd park the same weekend as the silver H3 and the yellow one were there. I can tell you that the yellow one won't last long the way that guy drives it. It's all go go go.

I watched the Silver one go up this trail then I watched the yellow one a little later go up the same one. Man what a differance. The guy in the yellow H3 is all look at me , hey everyone look at me.. This guy really is a show pony.

Anyway I really like the looks of the H3. Hope to catch up with the Silver H3 on the trail soon.
