A great trip until the end when Troy's bolts sheared off his steering gear, halfshaft broke, then his wheel was ripped off while being dragged sideways. The problem I mentioned on the previous page (wheels going in opposite directions) was caused by the milemarker bumper allowing too much play in the a-arm bolts. It was a pretty gnarly angle the truck was on so it definately wasn't safe to fix it where it broke. I thought we were dragging it to a safe place to fix then we just kept going to the bottom of the trail (about 100 yrds). Had it now about 4 years. 48,000 miles on it, jet black with a custom tool box in the area between the rear window and the fender wells to fill in where the back seat would be on a 4 door. Super swampers (standard size 12.50x37x16.5) no monster tires, real wheel covers, winch, underbody cage, nerf bars, nothing really fancy but it is a deer hunting machine.
