Jeenyus boy decided it would be fun to go offroading. Little did he know that mud is > Hummer.

A good 3 feet of mud completely trashed it out... gonna have to pay for it all to get fixed up now

Based on those pics doesn't look too bad. Did he get the interior flooded out? Anytime you get stuck with a female in the mud they tend to get annoyed pretty quickly. I imagine having to listen to her all the way home was worse punishment than any bill he has to pay.

What exactly do you mean by trashed out?

If you are talking about just plain dirty, then that's just a "value added feature" of the HUMMER line.

However, if it is something mechanical that cratered while you were trying to get out, please explain.

(That area you are in almost looks like part of the Trinity River Bottoms)

Remember, "Black Gumbo Mud" kills anything that ain't running MT's.

Oh crap......That wasn't good 'ol organic "Stank Mud" was it?

the water's not even up to the bottom of the back door, can't imagine it flooded, unless it sank more after the pics.  those street tires should have allowed that thing to just power right out of that - must have been driver error . . . . [;)]

Its not trashed its all good... hummers can handle mud even when a wheel is in the air! its the trees that make it hard!

Got her all cleaned up at the car wash and she is runnin fine now... no damage, just some mud. And the passenger side got mud flooded... thank god it wasnt stank mud.

As for my girlfriend she just laughed and we listened to music while we waited for my dad to come pull us out... he wasnt too happy but he got a good laugh so its all good.

And it wasnt so much a driver error... the truck was practically resting on its skidplates... when i hit the gas the three tires just spun over and over while the only one that was actually on solid traction wasnt moving... even up to about 5k revs and no movement

Yup I cant wait untill I can get me a set of 39.5" Iroks.. but gotta wait for these 37" MT's to wear out and the 38" Cepeks to wear first.

Injun, your tires have been worn out since I saw your first post. Treat your poor Hummer to some decent tires and nothing will stop you. LOL

RyanCodyH3, yes a good set of mud terrains or all terrains under that truck and you'll be all set!!  Send more pictures if you got em!

The H3 can handle just about anything you throw at it.  It all depends on the driver, however you've got to remember your over 2 tons, so mud can get you stuck once in awhile.

Actually I am currently on my 3rd set of rubbers since I bought it in 2006... First set of course were bad shape to start with(was promised new set within 2 weeks after purchasing from the dealer... it took over 6 months to arrive...) Once those were put on they lasted up until last fall when I switched them out for some more used MT's about 70% tread left... they are currently getting low but I picked up a set of used 38" Cepeks with about 70% tread on them as well going to mount them this spring... once they are done I think im going to finally bite the bullet and buy a brand new set of rubbers... but who knows another good deal may come around... For example I paid $50 CDN each for my Cepeks... couldnt let that go. But yea once I get my Iroks i am going to try that one mud trench again the one from the end of my Sept 24th wheeling video where i got pinched in... I tried it twice already with my bald tires... hopefully with my 39.5"s ill be able to defeat it.. only pit that I havent made it through around where I live and its killing me!
