Yeah, no doubt... I always had an idea for a commercial for the smaller hummers...
Like alot of people(jealous) refer to them as grocery getters, and soccer mom vehicles etc etc...
I always thought of having a commercial start off by someone loading groceries into it from a parking lots and then freeze the image and throw up some text like "uh yea, sure its a grocery getter" then continue on with like it going through some trails and end up in a very deep in the woods campsite where they unload the groceries then freeze the image and say like "but the real question is.. where are you taking the groceries?"

Then it will show both sides of the market place for hummer... general everyday driving and living and the extreme offroad capabilities of it all in the same commercian using the same theme etc....

Injunfarian--your idea sounds like a it would bring about increased sales, if the ones that are airing do anything to bring about more sales, it will surprise the heck out of me.

I saw one of them on MTV the other day....it was the one that features a take-off on 'the great escape' with the son of steve mcqueen......not bad but methinks the demographic audience won't be rushing out to buy hummers based on that commercial.
