Trouble with profile picture

I've up-loaded a couple of different photos for my avatar and/or profile and I get a message that it was successful but all I see is a blue question mark where the photo should be. I've tried it several times. Any suggestions?

Size matters.  [;)]   Are you sure your pic is within the size limit???

Yep. I scaled the photos down to 290x240 for the profile and 145x145 for the avatar. They are JPGs. I got windows that said the uploads were successful. My other photos are uploading fine.

Hummerhead, are you using a Mac or Windoz? I have Macs and I couldn't change mine with Safari web browser. I went to Firefox and I was able to change the avatar. Not sure if this is your issue but if you're using Windows and using Internet Explorer you may have better luck with Firefox browser?

Also you might try a GIF file rather than a jpeg, not sure if it will work but may be worth a try if nothing else works.

Thanks, guys...it finally went through. Not sure what I did to make it work but I ran it through one more time and there it was.
