Ok so i have been thinking. A buddy of mine who is like 22 or something got a loan for a h1 when he got out of college, ended up being like 36k or so and hes doing a 4 year loan. But now he wants a house and is looking to get rid of the h1 for 36k. It is a 98 but has a 99 motor in it or something like that the odom reads 90k miles but that is including the miles from the 1st motor which was replaced after 20k miles. It is a Wagon with a full roof rack and nothing realy done to it. Inside is very clean and has no aftermarket stuff. So the decision is Should i sell my 06 h2 wagon with almost 58k miles on it and buy his h1. Keep in mind that im a 20 year old college student with my h2 as my only ride. I love my h2 but i also love h1s alot, its just hard to get rid of a 2 year old car for almost 10 year old.

have you driven the H1?  have you been stranded in the H2? are you mechanically sound?  if you answer yes to all these, then maybe the H1 is for you.  if you answer no to one or more, then maybe you should stick with what got you here.  my $.02, your mileage may vary.

I havent driven the h1. What do you mean by stranded. And no im not mech sound. I love my h2 to death, i think ill just keep it and wait until i get out of school to get an h1 because ive always wanted one since i was a child.

Probably a good choice Brad. Don't go getting in the whole too bad yet, you're just getting started. You don't want to have to dig out of a deeper whole than you have to. Patience, you will have what you want. I would have KILLED to own a Hummer when I was 20.

Hard to beat the H1s. They are a blast but they are more expensive to maintain than the H2. 10 years old is more expensive to maintain than 2. I think the smart decision is to stay in your H2 until you graduate.

Keep your H2 until you have enough money saved up to afford the upkeep on the H1.
