Realtively new to the board as a poster, although we've been "lurkers" for some time.
We just picked up our black '06 H2 and have been looking for two of the plugs (rubber or plastic/nylon?) which fit into the existing square license plate mounting holes on the front bumper.
Is this something that can be picked up fom the dealer (we're near Silicon Valley Hummer in California) or is it an non-dealer specialty item?

But just to confirm, are these the small "button" plugs used to cover up the square holes through which the plate is mounted to the bumper, or are these the actual grommets which allow the plate to attach to the bumper? We're looking for the cosmetic rubber or plastic plugs to fill the holes since we won't be using the front license plate.
Good question... I think they are just square snap in "nutplates" if you will...
I had the plugs in mine before the accident and was using a receiver license plate holder.... then after the accident The collision center installed the entire plate holder.
