Hi, How many lube points are there on an H2? I can only find 10 on our 2006, but some say that there are 11-16? Who knows for sure? I can find the tie rod ends (2), upper ball joints (2), idler arm (1), pitman arm (1), tie rod ends (2), and center link (2). That is 10 in total. Are there any that I missed? By the way, you do NOT have to remove the skid plate to get to any of these. Just turn the wheels to move the center link to either side. You also do NOT need a swivel lube fitting. Straight one work fine, as long as they are mounted on a flexible lube hose.

Ok, I found the 11th. So well hidden that you can't see it on top, side of the idler arm. It is recessed inside and surrounded on 4 sides by metal, and can only be felt by hand after removing the front skid plate. It also had a straight zerk, which made it impossible to lube. Had to replace it with a 90 degree zerk, so that I could actually lube it. Even a 90 degree lube gun end could not do the job. Fine GM engineering strikes again. I wish they would stop hiring high school dropouts and calling them engineers.... So, I confirm there are 11 grease points (or 12 if you count the rear tire carrier).

Lower Ball Joints (2) on top, access from rear angled up and brake caliper might interfear.
