Last night there was a report on the Chicago news about the new fad of stealing GPS's from people's cars. Apparently there is a crime spree of that happening within Chicago.

Since I usually keep mine in plain view, for almost a year, and it hasn't been stolen, I figure it's probably not in the best of nieghborhoods this is happening in. I live 45 miles outside of the city anyway. They aren't going to get the car, and definitely don't want the factory radio

If someone stole it, it wouldn't surprise me. What do these people expect, especially living in Chicago? It's kinda common sense that eventually it would be a hot item to start stealing, no matter where you live.

I'd rather take my chances then disconnecting the damn thing every day. I'm not going to let the a&&holes get the satisfaction of knowing I'm afraid of my GPS getting stolen.

F'ing pathetic that people have to steal what you work hard to get. They all end up in jail anyway. Hopefully one of my new toys in my truck will do just that for them if they try it in my rig
