I'm not sure Bob...I know they were "form fitting" like this one, but I thought
those were all chrome. Besides the styling, it was the  Polyurethane Coated
part that caught my eye.

I'll defer to your superior knowledge of all things H2.

Sorry if this is old hat for you H2 guys...

Hell, it just looked like something new, interesting and a bit different.

I like that it almost looks stock, gf and I have been talking about bush guards (among many other toys).

went down to my dealership when these first came out on the special editions, ask my sales guy about them and was told back then i could have one for $1000 new,i said no way, then another salesman pulls me aside and says that they have a whole stack of them sitting in the storeroom that were take-offs because buyers did not like them, and they were just collecting dust!!!!!!!so he went and looked came back with a silver one and asked what i would pay for it,i asked what he wanted for it and he said his price, offered him a $100 less and he said sold, its a great piece and heavy duty, got it painted same as truck and viola!perfect $300.........very satisfied.so you might want to check out your local dealer if you are on good terms with them.

I don't dig it...

I'm into the old school wraparound double bars...

Not sure How well it would do on the trail, but I do like it's aesthetics for a primarily street use vehicle.

It is a nice touch on Prowlers rig.

I have this one.  I bought mine from Adventure Acc's.

It is a steel guard and coated with poly.  I haven;t puched any trees over with it, but I can tell you it's stronger than the stock POS I had on there and lighter than Real Wheels one I had.

It's not a bad guard.  If you want to be able to see the guard from in the Driver's seat. you don;t want this one.  The factory d/tier one I had you could see form in the cab and helped out with seeing the edge of the truck.

Funny.....After starting this thread, I've seen 4 of the damn things in the past
two days. They look even sharper in person.

BTW: Welcome Timgco.

I was deciding on whether to put that brushguard, but I still prefer the chrome
