Mike, you are the only person that I know that could possibly make watching a video about removing a grill amusing

I swear, I thought you were going to go through the garage door when you were backing up.

I wasn't going to get it working today, but screw it.  I'm going to finish the job and just add the sound module later in the week.

I'm working on it now.  I ran terminated leads from the positive and negative wires off the auxilary brake control harness under the dash.  Now I'm just looking up that ignition wiring diagram ImportKiller posted so I can tap that for a relay trigger for some other stuff.

I figure I should just get the dirty work done now considering in 7 hours it's supposed to go from 26 degrees down to -7, literally.  I'm running against the clock.

And JUST in case there is any confusion out there, I AM just acting like a goofball.  That's not how I really am   and I DO know how to use a real drill.

I just thought I'd try to make some people laugh.

Acting like a goofball??? Sorry Mike, but there are a few here that you know you well enough to know your not really acting

Good videos Mike.... Did you use LED's Or are they those red lens clearance lights? If you used LEDS you could wire them to so that they scan when the truck is off and the doors are locked...kind of like an alarm scanner. Won't kill the battery either, You can leave an led strip run for a few weeks with near zero battery drain. That would look awesome

Yup they are LEDs but with red lenses.  I took one of the lenses off to check it out.  It looks freakin awesome. I'm working on getting the video up now.  I'm amazed what a difference mounting them down there made.  I should have it ready shortly.

Apparently, somebody must have read this in IL and tried to get it, because as soon as I posted this, it became unavailable

Luckily, the poor schmuck must have had a bad credit card number or something, so thanks to a little patience from me, I got it

I know will have the only plates in the state that say KITT, and ironically, they will be Route 66 plates.

Thanks for the compliments.  I honestly didn't think you'd care for it too much.  I thought it was only a Knight Rider geek thing.  The scanning affect looks really good behind that grill.  The grill masks the separation between the LED lenses, so it looks almost like the original did.

I hopefully will have the sound affects going by mid-next week.  All of the wiring is already there to plug-and-play.

I just have to find a CD Quality sample of the scanning effect so I can dump it onto the chip.

come on now...KEEP IT TILL TOMORROW...I get nothing for that....DAMN... tough room!!!!

Anyway...were you saying that you didn't think I would care too much for it? You do remember that I am the admin on the Streetglow message board right? I have like $1500 in LED's, neons, neon projectors and strobes sitting in my shop waiting to get installed on the import  I need to take a picture of all the boxes stacked up...it's kinda funny. My wife calls it my mid life crisis car
