Hey~

Got to thinking today and it sucks to say that my H1 isn't the best for off-roading. With all of the electronics and things that are mounted below the seats that wouldn't like the bangin around I'm thinking maybe I should sell it and get a different H1. The problem is, I'm not sure how much to sell it for. We paid around 48 for it but that was at the Kruse collector car auction so I'm not sure if we could get that back out of it. I've got pictures in my album and what you see is what you get. It has 3 headrest monitors and a 15 inch monitor on the dash, it also has a 15 inch, 1000 Watt subwoofer and 2 Brax amps along with an xbox. The sub enclosures are completely hand made and painted to match the body color and all of the carbon fiber work was custom done as well.

Anybody have any suggestions as to its value and what I should replace it with?

Thanks,
Drew

Hard to tell when it has been customized. If you find the right guy you probably could get the 48K. I had a guy offer me 40K for my 97 wagon at the dealership a few months back. If I had been in the selling mode I would have jumped all over it. $0K was a good price but by the time I paid sales tax, license, registration etc. it didn't pay to let it go and buy another one. ( the 97 had the butterfly mirrors, aluminum 17" one piece wheels with new GSAs ( 3K miles ) and is really nice ) Not sure if that helps you.

I am with vilim.... gut it and keep your h1... 1997.5 is a good year one of the better for offroading... no TT4 or ABS etc.... Also once gutted im sure you could sell the aftermarket accessories for more than you would get for markup on your H1 even if you are lucky to find someone that would pay the markup for those accessories.... Also about time you pay sales tax etc for your new H1 it would prolly be the same if not more than the markup you got for your accessories.

There really isnt a reason to why you wouldnt gut it and remove all those accessories, Its not costing anything and youll have an offroad capable H1, and even if you choose to keep the parts you could put them back on if you feel like it. So my suggestion and injunfarians suggestion are really a win win situation for you.
