In an effort to avoid an international incident and to ensure clear and concise communications with our Australian brethren, I am providing a link to the "Australian Slang Dictionary" : http://www.koalanet.com.au/australian-slang.html Please take a moment to peruse this valuable resource and familiarize yourself with it's contents. Consider it's reading, a path to your own personal growth and development. A few of my faves: Ankle biter : small child Aussie salute : brushing away flies with the hand Bastard : term of endearment Bondi cigar : see "brown-eyed mullet" Brown-eyed mullet : a turd in the sea (where you're swimming!) Bush oyster : nasal mucus And those are just a few from the A's and B's. There is stuff in there that makes my "Southern Colloquialisms" sound like excerpts from a PHD dissertation on Astrophysics. Some funny shiot, and I don't care who you are. I love it......... This has been a Gunner_45 PSA. Later cobbers.
