NAV/DVD question

solarflare -> NAV/DVD question (1/28/2008 2:12:47 PM)

I did a search, but came up empty handed....Does the NAV radio allow you to play a DVD while your H3 is in park? My Charger had an awesome system...it was a Mygig with a hard drive....you could do a bunch of different things with that....it also had a jukebox that allowed you to save 12 cd's to the hard drive....you think for the $$$ we paid that they would of given us the latest technology....[:@]

THREE1234 -> RE: NAV/DVD question (2/2/2008 12:59:08 PM)

[:)][8|] Hello, I purchased a Tnr800 navigation radio am/fm/xm ready  thru ebay , I have a problem , the am/fm/xm radio works fine ,but every time I insert my dvd map in the unit  and press NAV bottom I get the "CD ERROR" signal  and dvd map is ejected,before I  had 6-CD CHANGER W/AM/FM XM READY RADIO  from the factory  in my hummer h3 2006, Do i need to take a trip to dealer to have my navigation unit code to   my car's computer, since is aftermarket?  may be the computer of my car is code for the radio only ...please need help!

Specialk098 -> RE: NAV/DVD question (2/5/2008 9:08:44 AM)

I bought the Alpine IVA-W205 in dash touchscreen DVD XM NAV CD AM/FM and I am really pleased.  My installer hooked me up with the bypass module so I can watch and drive.  The Nav and XM require additional hardware also.  There is also a backup camera but I don't have it.
