I just learned of a chinese knock-off humer h1.

""News fresh off the Chinese press - The Dongfeng Humvee that we talked about a few times previously will go on the market early next year, unfortunatly it wont be the full on army use one, but one aimed at the civillian population - so it will probably have leather seats, and a CD player. We’re waiting on more information, but we know the pricing already - a cool 1.4 million RMB""

They always have ripped off everybody else's design. The Chinese have been the biggest thieves in history. They have brought their country from a backward laughing stock into the present on stolen technology. Wild Bill let them get away with murder and gave them what they didn't steal.

I guess we should be happy. No maybe we will be able to buy an H1 for the price of a Kia.

If it was cheap enough you wouldn't mind tearing it up off road so much. Problem is I bet it would break down far more often than the AMG version. Besides, I buy American anyway.

Looks cool, but it's probably got a four cylinder engine.

I dont think it looks too bad either, hummer needs to redisign and bring back the h1, make it cheaper and made better for civilian so it will sell better. Ill still always like the original h1 better than any other car even if they redesign the h1. hummer should redisign it like jeep did with the wrangler recently, subtle design changes, and other subtle stuff to make it a lot better.

I honestly hate the fact that they are copying the H1... but now that the H1 has been discontinued... all the power to them in my book! I wonder when they are going to start importing them :)

Bet AMG won't even be able to sue them for copyright or patent infringement.

Nope.  They wont be able to.  Most patents are only good for 25 years.  After that, the world has free reign unless they renew the patent, which I doubt is going to happen, and mostly never is approved.  What a coincidence it's 25 years after the Humvee that this is released.

Get your parents to buy it for you   Tell them, it will cover any gifts they will ever think about buying you the rest of your life.  Then you can wheel with the big boys

Speaking of which, when do you get your license? Do they let you take the classes this early? In IL you can take them when you hit 15.

uuuhhhhh... I like to say im 15 because all of my friends are older than me but really im 14(and a half)
but here in  ohio () you do take your classes at 15 as well, and i will not procrastinate one bit in getting my license! unfortunately, they are considering making a law that will change the driving age to a half-year later I know thats not much but think back to before you got your license, a half year seems like forever longer! and I dont think I'll have a hummer for a while (maybe a repo-h3) because my budget is whatever I can get for a 99 accord.

It may not seem like but the day will come when you get your license , then your first job and then your Hummer.
