It had ****ty reviews... now is up there.

Great movie... great sound track...

Anyone else see it before I ruin anything??

This movie hit me like Ladder 49... laughs and laughs with a serious overtone until the end... that was a tearjerker.

The theme was two men dying of cancer... if you have ever had a love one die of or diagnosed with the Big C then this is gonna be touching.

Discuss?

Haven't seen the movie yet.  Living through a loved one who was diagnosed with and is currently undergoing treatment for cancer.  It definitely takes on a different perspective when it is that close to home.

played hooky today and went to see w/ my girlfriend.  i thought it was a good movie.  a lot of funny and a lot of sad.  i was able to keep the emotions under control primarily b/c of all the sniffles i heard throughout the theater

Haven't seen it. My partner's wife just went through the bone marrow transplant at City of Hope about 9 months ago. So far so good but I saw the emotional turmoil the family, friends, etc all went through. It was hard on everyone. Thankfully after nine months she is doing perfectly so far. Great care and a lot of luck and hopefully the prognosis stays great.
