although i am not considering a purchase, I did stop by the dealer to take a look at a few.
I started by looking at the 2008 h2s and h3s very nice. I like the new interior of the h2 a lot better and i saw a nice h3 alpha with adventure package.

I also looked at some h1s (only 2 there b/c i live in southern ohio) and at first I was looking at an 87 one and the service guy saw me looking and took me inside to see a very nice one. the guy said it was a 98 but it looks newer to me... it was all decked out with tvs 9.1 surround sound and all sorts of fun stuff. it was the first h1 i've sat in. very nice and a good trip.

I started by going on a hunting trip with a friend that had just bought his brand new 2003 H2. We came back late Sunday night and mine was in my driveway Friday evening of that week. hang around Hummers and the dealership and one day you will drive home in one.

Watch out cause it doesn't stop with just buying a Hummer soon you'll be adding stuff to it.

Be careful of the accessories. They are pretty cool. I have a friend who can't quite afford the boat he wants. ( probably can but he's cheap and wants to steal one from someone ) Well he doesn't have his boat yet but he has bought thousands of dollars of accessories for the boat he just knows he is going to have soon. Life jackets, radio, flashlights.....and he doesn't have the boat. You could wind up with off road lights, rock sliders and a brushguard if you aren't careful. LOL

i woldnt be surprised if the owner of the green h1 was a member here, the service guy said that was one of the owner's three humers (H1s) and he was looking to buy the tan one (pictured)

Hummer's are very addictive... I currently have an H1 and thought it would be more than enough for me but now I want to get myself a bare bones HMMWV to setup with little or no creature comforts strictly an offroad beat also got my eye on the H4 as a potential choice to keep fuel consumption down and a nice rig to use when going out and the parking spaces are limited....

I like the hmmwv idea. if I were you i'd buy a military surplus one (good luck finding) or buy one from a company that restores military vehicles. I hate seeing the military ones with the mismatched parts and missing parts missing, but if you get one from a resto company, they'll know where to find all th parts and you'll get one in factory condition.

I was looking at some on theinternet one day and I saved these pics unfortunately I dont remember the site :(
i do remember that they take custom orders only and they had these cool pics of a restored one.
