That commercial is really cool. I like it and all the other Hummer commercials, I just wish they ran longer.

The Dallas area stations have been playing that a lot lately and it looks great in HD.

Speaking of commercials, just this evening I caught the tail end of a different kind of Hummer commercial, it's called HOPE. I've never seen nor heard about this organization before and was quite surprised what HOPE stands for.

I think it's pretty cool.

Here's the LINK

I am HOPE certified. You have to be Red Cross certified and get the Trail Endorsement from THCI, pass a driving records check, etc. It stands for Hummer Owners Prepared for Emergencies. It is a volunteer collaboration between AMG, Hummer/GM, the RedCross and Hummer Owners. Oncecertified and approved you are on a volunteer call list that the Red Cross can go to to ask for assistance in getting people, supplies, etc into and out of areas that normal emergency vehicles can't go.During Katrina a bunch of H1 owners were involved in assistance efforts in New Orleans. I was not HOPE ertified then. During the California wildfires a few months back I was called by the Red Cross but by the time I called back they already had filled the need. If you go to the THCI website you can click on the HOPE ad and it will take you to the website where you can find out about HOPE. I urge all of you to at least look into it. It is open to all Hummer owners who fulfill the requirements. It is also a great way to counter the greenies, Prius Owners and haters.
