i've finished the head unit install, security and rear eye camera.  i went with the eclipse avn 5500 with navigation and the eclipse bec camera.  the camera has night vision and image is great.   i mounted the camera on the plate of the receiver and has a great field of view.  routing the wire under the vehicle was a beeotch though.  i used a scosche auto-paging remote start security with an added on "moose" siren.

if you replace the head unit-and are using navigation, be sure to use the "on-star" adapter-it has the vss wire in it and will save a ton of time locating it at the pcm.
