Heres a couple of things to think about first. True people have put 20's, 22's, 24's on their hummers and they look good.
I have had a 2004 H2 with 22's and 2006 H3 with 20's

1) The H2's with 22's its not the easiest to stop on a dime. A couple of times with the H3 I had to down shift to slow down in time. The bigger the tire/rim the heavier it is.

2) One good thing is the H2 had more than enough power to turn these 22's with ease. The H3 (5cyl) with stock tires is a slug, needed to do performance upgrades to help with the bigger tires, but still good use alot more.

3) Tires selection - plays a big part in ride comfort.

I now have a 2007 escalade with 22's but kept the stock tires to main the ride comfort of this luxury suv.

hope this helps you with your selection of rims sizes
