Hello I'm new on this board and I am getting an H3 in April of 2007. I really like the base price of $29,500. Does anyone know if there will be a base of this offered on the 2007 line?

I will probably get a base then build it up. I would imagine by April 2007 all of the brand new 06's will be gone.

Also, will the increase in the horsepower make the fuel efficiency drop?

base price is supose to be higher. and im thinking the fuel effecieny wont drop that much they'll find some way to make it up. Take away from something else.

For fuel economy it could be that the bigger engine just produces enough extra power to not work as hard and therefore not consume anymore fuel. In a sense finding that optimum sweet spot were more power would consume more fuel due to excess, and less power would make the engine work harder and consume more fuel.

I would say it's a safe bet that the mileage numbers should stay in the relative ball park of the 06's. There could be a slight drop, or rise.

Our 07 is due in this Tuesday. We ordered back in May. From what I have heard/read the base price is $29,355.00 The gas mileage is still est 15/20. That is all I have for now until I see my window sticker this week. I will let you know.

From what I have noticed driving the '07 loaner I have, the mileage seems to be similar for the same fuel tank needle position as my '06. Keep in mind I have discovered that the '07 will chirp all four tires, and I enjoy stomping on it to go, so maybe it will actually be better.
