ORIGINAL: HummerGuy I have to tell you I really like the FJ, but it is just too much of a copy of a Hummer. They could have at least made the front end a little dissimilar. I'm thinking about getting one for my wife in the spring. I think any hummer is too much for her to handle, considering she is only 5'1 The FJ is more resemblant of the original FJ40 then of the Hummer. My girlie friend owns one and it is a nice vehicle to ride it. Toyota hit the nail on the head on somethings with it, but it lacks in some areas compared to the H3. I have yet to get her to take it offroad beyond a gravel road, so I can't compare the off road ability to a H3. As far as any Hummer being too much for your wife or someone her size to handle, I see women her size drivng 80,000 lb semi's all the time. In fact, when I drove flat bed, I worked with a woman her size that could maneuver our double trailer setup better then any guy we had working for us at the time, including me and I'm no slouch when it comes to doubles.
