H3 level kits.

I am looken to level my 2006 h3 out and would like to know who makes the best one out there? Second question what are the best tires I can get to make my H3 look a little better after I level out . I am looken to add a little more meat on them and keep my stock wheels.

thanks,

Chris

All leveling kits are a complete waste of money...just turn the t-bar bolts to level the truck and buy a goodset of new longer shocks...all the leveling kits do is give you reindexed t-bar keys which only change the starting location.....by turning the stock t-bar keys you can level the truck off and not notice ANY change in ride because you are not changing the spring rate.

They're are ALOT of threads there about leveling your H3. I personally did the Torsion Bar crank then got an alignment done. Cheaper, faster, and easier. You will get different opinions on this from everyone. Go with what you want, but like Impy said; They TB crank works just fine. I did it about 4,000 miles ago and everything is fine.

GM.......It's already on your truck.  The T bar adjusting bolt is 1 1/16", just tighten to level Left to Right, and up from there if you need to.  Links.

The forum has a SEARCH feature.  Check it out sometime, it actually works.

The FAQ is the best thread by far, IMO. It helped me cement how I'm going to level my H3. Cognitos, crank the torsion bars, alignment. I think that's pretty much it.

shock extenders give you the full level, with your t-bar crank

I plan on doing the Tbar crank with new (longer) cognito shocks. Never heard of a bad crank. I'm only doing two turns. Also, if you ask me, some of those kits look like they lift it a bit too high in the front.

As for tires, I think most agree that the Toyos & MTZ's are the best way to go as far as looks and performance. I also hear good things about BF Goodrich Mud Terrain, but these and the Toyo's may be a bit louder on the road than the MTZ's.

What size tires are you looking for? You can clear 35's with slight rub even without a tbar crank. Understand that the stock wheels for a H3 are narrow however, so if you go 34" or 35" it will rub unless you use spacers.

your diploma is in the mail[:D][:D] The narrow rim is not why it may rub at full lock with stock wheels though...it rubs because of the wider tire and the fact that the offest of the rim is so drastic.[:D]
