Stopped by the local dealer tonight just to check out the 08's. That's when I found they have come up with an "Urban Tactical" H3. Price in window was 53k. An alpha with 20's & Nitto's, rocker panel protectors, Plus 1 lower grill fog lights, lower grill lights, billet tow hooks and hood handles.

Only had the camera phone with me but snapped a couple anyway.

kinda strange having rock rails on a built for the street h3...seems like wasted money...and $53,000 GOOD GOD!!!!!!!!!! I love my h3...but I don't thinkit's worth that much...even if it had a v8.

I almost hate to say it, but I like it! Maybe some different rims, but it looks nice. At least those shots do.

Guess they did that as a response to them not offering the tactical with an adventue pack option

Looks like those lower two fog lights could be in some jeopardy.

Are you sure the dealer didn't just come up with that "tag" just to bump up the price? I didn't see anything on Hummer's site or from HummerGuy about this.  Can't say it fits in with the image that Hummer is trying to go with the H3 either.

May have been some additional dealer mark up over list. Lots of the dealers around here add tons of  afetrmarket stuff to the H2s and mark them way up, then have "sales with 10K off. It isn't unusual to see H2s on the lots here at 85K ( left, tires, wheels, lots of entertainment goodies, chrome ) then they knock 10-12K off so you think you are getting a deal. Also makes it harder for shoppers to compare the trucks. Haven't seen that going on much with the 3s yet.

That is a dealer thing. they added those options and called it that on their own. You can't get an H3 from the factory like that. Trust me, we do the same thing and my dealership but we don't price it so high where people would rather buy and H2.

Hummer of Columbus has been doing that here. That's how we got the wifey's H3, they also made a Harley one (must have sold it, couldn't find the ad) and the one below for the Buckeyes

That's kinda cool....  actually the Ford dealership south of me is starting the customizing gig... they are putting out some wicked looking Mustangs... as well as some sweet F-Series.
