So im driving and I see this 2003 Ford Explorer trying to cross over 3 lanes then zooms in front of me and slow down - I slam on my breaks and blast my horn and he ignores me. So I let it go and we both make a right. After the right I try to get into the left lane then he cuts in front of me again and slows down. By this time I'm pissed and could care less that he can see my stickers of my websites on my rear window - as he slows down to make a left I cut in front of him and drive super slow, then he speeds up and tails me, and as we pull out of the shopping mall parking lot I slow down in the middle of the street locking his sorry ass in the middle of the parking lot and on coming traffic. As I move super slow to cross lanes I can see he's all pissed then I drive away.

Was this wrong?

As much as it feels good at the time, this is road rage. Do it to the wrong nut and they shoot you. I had a crazy guy in a Volvo 20 years ago wave a hand gun at me. I try to control my emotions on the road. It really gets you nowhere. I am noticing more and more people seem to have a problem with the Hummer.

What about getting his license plate # and reporting to the cops? How about some input from one of our finest?

I know bro - why is that? Why do we get the most HATERS on the road?! I mean I don't hear too much about Excalades and other luxery vehicles getting this type of hate? I got to relax though, there are some nuts here in Hawaii also.

Thanks.

The Hummer is a symbol for everything that is "over-the-top"... It's not just hated by the environmentalists... It has a larger cross-section of haters than that. The strange thing is that I haven't really experienced that. I've had a few remarks in the gas stations about, "Boy... I bet you wished you hadn't bought that now!"... I tell them what mileage I get and they just shut up. Most admire it actually...

I would have done the same thing... Actually I kind of did the other day. I drive a Porsche 911 on some days... It's my garage queen and usually once a week or so I'll take it to work. I was coming home the other day and someone in front of me flipped their cigarette butt out the window... It came back and hit my hood then windshield. Now I'm a smoker too and always make sure that my butts usually stay in the car. In the off chance I flip it out the window... I make sure it doesn't hit anyone. Anyway... I light up a cigarette...smoke it for a few minutes, then pull in front of the guy and flip it out my window so it hits HIS windshield. I know it's childish... but I felt much better. :)

Now I like that on!!

I get probably 5-1 positive remarks. It's just that the negative are usually emotionally charged and asinine so I jump on them.

Well, if it results in a fender bender, you'll both get fined for aggresive driving, not to mention the damage to your H3. So, if all of it is worth all of that mess, then I guess theres nothing wrong with it.

As dilo said, you probably have some road rage. As long as you are fine and he didn't touch your car, it was best to just let it go. You are never gonna see the guy again. When someone does something like that to you again, just yell profanities (i yell mine is German), laugh it off and never think about it again.
But...Nice job at revenge.

As much as somebody (you or I) may want our revenge or feel that the person should be for being a moron, as you guys said, you NEVER know what kind of nut is behind the wheel of the car driving crazy, and you won't want to be the headliner of your local news station as a victim of road rage because some idiot lost it and shot you.

My wife always tells me I should be more aggressive with these people. I said I spent WAY too much money fixing up this H3 to risk having someone smash it. As much as I hate it, I just suck it up and forget about it. Although on occasion I will call the local police if someone is driving completely mad, even though I'm a chronic speeder :)
