I'm about to join him as well. I came to this forum because it was a good source of information about Hummers, and because everyone was pretty laid back. Now all I see are rants and cuts on each other. The professinalism of some of the members is nill, and the off comments are really starting to get to me. A month or so ago, I was threatened with being banned because some of my humor attempts were mis-understood. Now we have members practically cursing each other out.
Unless things change, I won't come back, and I'm not joking either.

What's the story with all of this, guys? I can't imagine Linus posting something offensive, and i guess i haven't seen bickering here ... which goes to show that i'm blind?? lol

I always thought th is was an unusually positive web forum w/o all the dramatization.

I'm with linus on this one...........Way to much bs as of late. Kidding around and joking are cool and fun, but it is getting out of control. every time i log on and look at posts since last visit. It takes a lot of time just to weed out the ongoing crap. This is a very good site and has a great group of core members with a lot of info......Lets still have fun, but get rid of the needless stuff that most people don't care to hear..............My .02

I haven't been around here that long, but I do try to read through all of the posts. I have alot of experience on other boards and this one, at least to me, seems to be the most no nonsense board out of all of them. I like it.

This is America and supposedly a free counrty with free speech. I have been suggesting now for a few weeks that the forum have hard coded links to the basic questions. I am sick of seeing the same questions asked over and over again in new posts. I believe ten or so dedicated links to basic questions would relieve much of the polution.

I am surprised to see the whining higher up this thread and wonder if it is not more of a club mentality setting in against all the new members. If I have offended or annoyed people I both apologize and question why you are so easily bothered. I think the strength of this site is that we have many knowledgable and humorous posters. It would be to bad to see folks leave, but I challenge people to communicate and ask people to stop, including myself rather than leave. As some of you know I am on my second screen name here due to a quarrel with a user. I have attempted to patch it up. I think if you beleive this is worthwhile you need to fight to fix or clean up the site. If you treat it as something to fight for (like a loved one) you will be rewarded!

I'm still here, but with limited access...If I had more time to post, I would hopefully try to ease the tension I'm sensing here..

Linus..It's OK and I understand what you're talking about so be cool and hang in there budddy...I've did some house cleaning of redundant or nonsense posts and directed folks to put such stuff including myself in this OFF TOPIC section to lessen the clutter on the HUMMER sections, in hopes to divert that kinda crap..But as you ALL seen some sarcasim hit the fan because of my effort..However not to be deterred..The policy still holds..This is the forum section for just that kind of stuff..

Again, I'll thank everyone on behalf of the Owners and other members to please contain nonsense posts to over here in the OFF TOPIC area.

I'LL BE BACK! when I get back home from Duncanville, TX...Man is this place B-O-R-I-N-G!
