Holy crap I must have the highest payment here! **** I pay $567 a month! My truck was Just over $38,000 and I get 15,000 miles a year, but I also had a truck that I still owed $17,000 (even after paying on it for 3 years) which they only gave me $11,000 for, but I have a really awesome boss at work, who gave me part of my raise that I have set up through next year to cover any negative amount was going to have and I even put down $3,000 myself. So I am hoping when I turn it in at the end of the 39 month lease for another H3 my payments will go down quite a bit. I am used to paying this though. I made a stupid choice by trading in a suv 4 years early for another SUV and had that one for 3 years and in April I was looking around and whether I traded it in now or waited 2 more years I was going to get screwed because the value on the SUV I had was terrible! I traded it in in April and it was the best choice I have made! I defintely earned the hard way with the other Suv I had, but live and learn I guess!

To Jen813:
It seems that the higher the gas prices, the more incentives the dealers were offering, some people in this forum got FREE GAS (from what i read here, quite a bit of it )......so that is one factor....also we don't all have the same exact options in our H3s. Maybe you have more options than some with lower payments.

I paid $1650 for a down payment, and my payments are $440 a month, with the lease. I am definitely buying the lease out at the end though. Since there is a big Hummer craze in Chicago, I think I probably pay more then people in other areas. The interest on the lease was cheaper then financing for a full purchase at the time, by about 3 or 4 % points. Now I see 0 down 299/month lease deals. Oh well, at least I have one and have not had any problems with it after 17000 miles (except a possible leaky CV boot)

having a $600 down sure sounds a good deal! Now I wonder what the new H2 would cost us folks!
