Hello All,

Will a set of 16x8 wheels with a 0 offset and 4.5" backspacing stick out a lot? I'm looking for a new set of wheels but a little clueless as to what an H3 can accommodate. I have a set of E&G fender flares and would like the wheels to match the fenders but not stick out past them. Thanks in advance!

Max

In my opinion 0 offset is perfect, but I like the wheels to stick out a little bit.  0 offset should put you about one treadwidth out from the fender.  I have not seen the fender flares in person to know how wide they are.  From pictures it looks like they are about as wide as the distance the tire would stick out.  The width of the tire also place a role in this too.

The only way to know is put them on and see how it fits.  Most Offroad shops will let you do this without having to agree to buy them.  Post some pics if you get them on.

Thanks for you reply!  I've been looking to find some pics of owners running a 0 offset wheel but have had no luck.  I guess the search continues...

I actually have a -12 offset (which pushes the rim out further than a 0.)  You can look at my photos in the gallery - search smokinhummer.

One thing to consider my tires are also 13" inches wide.  Not your standard 33x12.50 which are usually 12 inches wide.
