No promotions of other related sites. There is no problem with occasionally using the name of other sites or even posting a link to a pertinent thread from another site, but repeatedly referring to other related sites is considered "SPAM" and is not allowed. Please have the decency of NOT putting links to them in your signature, profile or have a post, PM or Chat telling our members to come over to another related site. Such activity is ground for removal from signature, and repeated offenses are grounds for being banned.

You are not allowed to post links that lead to an affiliate program or that in any way earn you something. We consider you earning something if you have an affiliate ID, website, or if you earn money from banner impressions or click-thru's. nothing has been killed, I just withdrew from the competition. Some may say I was wrong but honestly, this is supposed to be a fun in house contest, by posting elsewhere to gain votes that is taking this contest to a level it was not meant to be. I am the admin at streetglow forums and a mod at a private fishing/bass boat forum .....I can promise I would have had over 1000 votes if I decided to use these same tactics...but winning the ROTM isn't that important to me, so I bowed out and let him have the win...that's all.

Congrats 2Z!
I posted the Rules 7 and 8 so everyone could see no rules were broken. Perhaps only the spirit of the HF ROTM.
There may be new ROTM rules soon though?  Not really a big deal, and it was a fun contest. Until the next one!

Maybe, maybe not. It depends on your perspective and Bob's projected life expectancy.
Both usages are applicable I suppose.
