Make a wooden pedal car for MuddyD, inspired by the H2 in design.

I don't know if this is possible, but I think you should carve a statue of the American flag raising of Iwo Jima. You can then auction it off for some charity that gives to the troops' families for Christmas.

what about an H2 facing an H3, on some nice bookmatched hardwood? sort of a mirror image fretwork on a mirror image background? i can't do the quality of fretwork you do, but i've been doing a lot of bookmatching hardwoods lately for different projects. just don't use lacewood though, bookmatches never seem to look right with that stuff . . . . .

Maybe you can carve a torx bit stripped out because the project wasn't done by a professional mechanic.... but seriously.... I like The HG's idea.... do a fretwork picture of that... do Washington crossing the Delaware....

Thanks for the ideas everyone and thanks for the encouraging words H34Pleasure, I'm leaning towards Shortbus' idea. An H2 facing an H3 on a trail maybe with some water underneath them and the reflection could be of an H1. That maybe to ambitious even for me, I'll make some sketches and see what I can come up with. Thanks again.

holy crap! someone actually paid attention to one of my posts. we need to mark the date somehow . . . . . . some nice curly maple, bookmatched, would stand out, especially for a wavy-water look. or some birdeye, to mimic rocks, with a strip of wenge or walnut as the trail. some great ideas, especially since i don't have to try to make it . . . . . . .
