I went out hunting today and saw nothing for 6 hours.  I decided it was time to take the 3 out and play while n the woods.  I went up and over 2 different power lines, across a creek and over some railroad tracks to come out on another trail before heading out of the woods.  It was the most fum I have ever had in any vehicle.   I took some pictures bt not nearly enough but will post them ASAP.  Today it showed me why I bought the 3!

Beware how you talk about hunting around here.  Peta members are in the area.

Where are they gonna put the dog boxes? On the roof? But thats the place for the dead deer. Or dead whatever it is they killed for entertainment that day.   It is well put together.

Damn, how'd you get that thing in the air to run over power lines? Around here, the best, quickest, and easiest way to go hunting is to drive around out in the country with the high beams on!

Do you guys hunt public land or private leases up there?

A bad day in the woods hunting and getting nothing is better than a good day doing most anything else.

Was out on private land that the owner turned over to the Game comission to run, also allot of State Land.  Some of the best is the private land that you need to get permission to enter, but up here if you really want to see deer you need to go to the new suburban developments.  Was a bad season but still beats being at work!

I got pretty pissed off at the hunters this year... I have a cemetery on my farm back in Illinois... and hunting has never been allowed until this year... even by me... The woods was never hunted... so this year I went back to the farm over Thanksgiving and saw that the guy had cut down a couple limbs on a huge tree in the cemetery where my relatives are buried... and put up a huge tree stand...

I was ****ing pissed... and now... now more hunting....

We have a lot of public land to hunt on, but you do so at your own risk. I tried it once,
but will never do it again. I think most people prefer leases or canned hunts on ranches and what not.

As for damaging trees/property....Al it takes is one azzhole to screw it up for everyone else. Same thing applies to off roading and trail riding.......

You sure can't blame the land owners for limiting access.

I had a guy looking after my place in Texas. Part of the deal was that he got to hunt the place. On my list trip back I noticed he had taken a couple of trees down to clear his line of fire from his stand. I told the stupid SOB he should have moved his stand. Not sure where he hunts now but it isn't on my property. I have hunted for 35 years and never taken a tree down. There are some strange thinking people out there.

i dont hunt,i just cant see spending hours sitting in the cold, not a hater,i love deer sausage,i just dont do it,but i would definitly take that stand down and burn it,or you could just make it smell back there somehow that deer wont even show up,that would be funny

The thing that makes me the most pissed off is actions like this give the anti groups ammo...(no pun intended)

I took a quick shot of it with my cell camera... not the best.. but you get the idea...
