Hello All! I'm a new member to the hummer forums and I have a question for all the experts out there. Our H1 has paint code: B30 on its VIN sticker. I have been looking around to find out the actual name of this color. Some places have it listed as charcoal metallic (these sites have black diamond metallic as paint code : B34), while others (including the previous owner) told me it was black diamond metallic. I would relaly like to know the proper name of the color.. Thanks for all the help!!

call your local dealer and give them the paint code - they'll tell you exactly what it's called.

if you want experts, well . . . . . you should have said something, i wouldn't have responded . . . . . .

Black Diamond is B30, (Black Metallic is B34). Your paint is also PPG code = DUHS-36241

any idea where i would go to find out the "officail name" of the interior colors? I believe the 04 came with the two-tone black and tan that was found on the 06 alpha edition trucks.

HAHAH yeah,. i would love it if it was that simple.... but you know when they call the exterior paint color "diamond black mettalic", the interior color combo has to have some sort of exotic name... :) Where is a good place to start looking?

Ebony and Morocco and the 2004 has the same interior as the 2006 with the exception of the shifter knobs. Second wave 2006 production had all Ebony interiors.

Not sure. I'll look at my Alpha and 97 and see if I see any reason why you couldn't.
