Hello All,

I just ordered the e&g classics fender flare kit with splash guards.  I was wondering if you all would recommend taking them to a body shop to have installed or would this be a good weekend project for me to tackle?  I do appreciate your help in advance.

Max

you can do it in a evening yourself it is quite easy a tool that would help would be one of those forked screwdrivers " I INCLUDED A PIC OF IT" for taking out plastic retainer clips but you can do it with side cutters..........."NOTE"  do not cut the clips but just use the cutters to hold the end of the clip so you can pull it out . other than that a small socket set and a couple screw drivers and a drill. I would also install the front splash shields as low as you can if i was to do mine again i would mount them a hair lower.

here is a pick of mine

HillJob26,

I bought mine from here:  http://www.teakatoys.com/product_p/eg-5355-2500-06.htm

They had them for $379 w/ free shipping just a few days ago.  They must've ended the free shipping period because I don't see it advertised now.

Thanks for the instructions!  I like how the kit looks on your rig.

I know the husky splash guards are wider, but do the fender flares protect just as good?  I'm just a lil tired of wiping down my H3 everytime i come home.  The dirt and water are constantly getting thrown from the tires on my doors!

they help quite a bit but i think with larger tires the front splash guards could have been a bit longer the front tires will still kick up the crap especially if you leveled out your ride. I have been thinking of way to extend mine lower but without it looking retarded.
