Not to sound cheap but is there a light kit that can just mount to your existing roof rack? I just find it hard to spend over $500 for a new bar with 4 lights on it. Thanks

Yeah those lights look good PM what kind are yours, if I had half a roof rack to send you HILL I would. Its never gonna snow down in GA so I dont need the fancy ones just some that look good. Any suggestions on lights to mount if I do it myself?

well if you purchase the lights seperatly, its cheaper, and for mounting you could just mount how ever many you have to one of the cross bars. you take it of drill another whole on bottom, so when you push the bolt through you can catch it on the other side and just screw it down, thats exactly what idid only i mounted mine to the roof rack, same process. Mine are APC dont know the company that well but they are more for looks.

i also found what some one did here, http://www.hummerforums.com/m_102099/tm.htm , the got lilltle lights not my personal favorite but yea, and they mounted them to the front, or the comapny did, all you would do if you got one like i did is mount them on top and bring the bolt through the bottom. they also talk about wiring there so might be some help, i still have to wire mine.

Hummer makes lights that go on the stock roof rails, i sold the mounts when i sold my roof rails.  so, yes, you can find them and they're actually pretty well built.  haven't read all the responses, so you may have already found what you need, but they are available.

the ones from hummer slide on to the slot in the stock roof rail.  you would be able to mount any light you wanted, if i remember correctly.

my parts guy is looking into it, he thinks he may have a takeoff somewhere with the brackets as well.  if so, i could probably get them pretty cheap and we can work something out for ya.  I'll let you know as soon as i know something.  he's made me some awesome deals on takeoff stuff in the past, so we'll see what he can come up with.

went in for an oil change but my normal parts guy is off.  the only thing the newb working could find was the rail with the built in lights - i didn't think that was what you were looking for.  i'll give him a call tomorrow.
