People where talking about this new music format called a CD and havinga cellphone meant you had to carry around one in a bag becuae the battery was so big.  Remember the old Motorola Flip Phone.

There were: no computers; cell/bag phones; no pagers; no internet; no cable TV; not even Sony Beta tapes; no VCRs; no TV remotes; no computer controled car functions (PCMs); a hummer was somethin you got from your girlfriend, not a dealer; NO ONSTAR; no friggin heated seats w/ whimpy little hard to operate switches to whine about; gas was under a buck; only a few cars had power seats and windows; no DVDs/CDs/Cassetts/8 track........only  vinyl records for home; no MP3; FM radio, not stereo; a watt lit a bulb, not an amplifier; your first grade teacher could give ya a hug when ya skinned yer knee w/o being arrested; if you f'ed up your dad could whoop yer azz w/ a belt and not be arrested; you could take an asprin or cold medicine to school if you were sick, and not get expelled, arrested, and sent to counselling; if you had a beef w/ somebody, and both agreed, you could duke it out after school to beat it outa eachother, shake hands when you were done, and not be arrested, expelled, sent to counselling; if ya was pulled over with an open beer, the cops would tell ya to pour it out and go home, and not arrest ya, have the courts take your money, license and send you to counseling; no power heated turn signal mirrors on your car; no high third stop light; no remote controlled starters; there where keys that ya used to open the car door, no remote fob; no nav radios/units and we could always find where we were going; no DRLs and we still saw eachother coming down the road........................this world is goin to shyt in a hand basket.  You get the point.

isn't there still a law on the books in texas that has horse stealing as a hanging offence? I think I heard it on a documentary.

(changed to lethal injection, hanging is not a humanitarian way to kill someone.)

lethal injection meant the insertion of a bullet to the cranium . . . . . . .
