Yeah, Tom was our trail leader. Great guy. We had a blast. Off roading from around 9 til 1 each day then enjoyed other events at the Homestead resort. Did a little skeet shooting on Friday and fly fishing on Saturday.

Looks like it was a fun time! How did the Alpha handle?

Hey glad you had a great time, we will have to meet up at next year's events. Any thoughts on where they are going to have them for 08? My wife and I are planning on attending the 4 on the east coast atleast. Nice camo protecter to on the Alpha, I still have to make my own yet.

Speednut, the Alpha was just awesome off road. I was able to move through some bottom out mud runs of about 25 feet at a slow deliberate rate. My 06 H3 would require the approach to be much more aggressive with tires spinning a lot. The Alpha tires would spin ocassionally but the truck just kept on moving. We cut a new trail through a pretty heavy rock area (large boulders, sharp jutting rocks, etc.) and the Alpha perfomed exceptionally well. Actually better than a couple of the H1's that had to make multiple approaches to move through this one section. The Alpha just climbed up, over and down with ease. Trey, the latest Azimuth magazine has the preliminary event schedule for 2008. If you don't have one let me know and I will mail you a copy. For the east half of the U.S. were are planning Kinzlows in TN for late April early May to coincide with their strawberry festival; June is Rausch Creek in PA; July is Country Roads in WV; August or September is Gray Rock in AL; October is Windrock in TN.

Nice, June and July look like it might be a go for me. Rausch Creek seems to be growing by the day.
