Default Throttle Body - V8 vs I5 - Interchangable?

I have a 2009 H3 w/I5 3.7L and I had a question due to throttle sensor issues (P2135 and the common reduced power mode plagues me). I noticed you cannot just replace the sensor on the I5 TB, you have to buy a whole new kit.

So as the thread topic shows: does the TB from the V8 work on the I5? Because...

1) I know the sensor on the stock V8 TB is replaceable (there are kits available online for sensors only). I forsee this as cheaper maintenance in the future.

2) I also know the plug is in a different spot so I will most likely need to extend my wiring to reach it (and I'm ok with that if it saves money in the future).

For the record, I did in fact remove the sensor from my I5 TB... it was rather difficult to reinstall after I hit it with MAF cleaner (only cleaned since replacements are not available). I had to use a Dremel to open up the enclosed plastic box where the sensor is, then I used JB Weld to seal it back. In Louisiana, this is referred to as coonass engineering.

Answer= NO.

In fact, the 2006, 2007, and 2008+ I5s use different TBs.
