i had an early trooper for a while (company issued) and that thing was like a mountain goat. it never left me stranded because of the terrain. as for leaving me stranded because the rotor would fly off and crack the distributor cap, or the carb would just fall apart, well, that's another story . . . . . I always wanted the Amigo when they first came out. Never did get one but thought they looked cool when I was younger.

they did make some pretty cool off road mini's...vehicross,amigo,trooper...they had a good lineup at one time.

i liked the trooper, aside from the engine issues. it broke my offroading cherry.
