Good Days All

I am looking at the purchase of an H1 they are asking 44K for it. It he showing only 5459k miles or so has anyone seen the hummer something just sound fishy. it is 21 years old Diesel 6.2 It has 37" X 12.50R X 16.3LT Tires 16.5 X 8.25 Rims. I heard you can not buy this size tire anymore. Is there anything else that you can tell me to look for. I dont wan to buy something I can get parts on

That truck has been for sale for a long, long time. They are still overpriced by about 10K. You can still buy the 37 x 12.5 x 16.5 tires but there are limited choices. Military takeoffs, surplus, IROKs and a couple of others. Most people upgrade to a 17" wheel to get a better tire selection. Vehicles with that few miles may need servicing and care before driving. Lots of things haven't been lubed, seals have dried, etc. They started out asking about 60K for the truck. My best guess is that it should sell in the 35K range.

 

Talk them down... and try to get an extended warranty.
