H3T Alpha. Has power but will not crank. Everything was good. Left store mad a right and turn right rear tire dropped of driveway. Hummer rocked a little and engine died. Coasted into a safe place. Tried to start but did not even try to crank. I did not here anything at all. Battery had power and battery terminal have been replaced a couple years back with better than those cheap oem
Also once died and put in park would not come out of park. Also info at odometer said ABS failure and traction failure. Not sure if it always says that when keys is on but not started
Had to tow to dealer. They say it's a short in the starter circuit blowing fuses
They at first threw out that it has an after market security system and radio
Now they think it is a BCM but can't get one suppose to be on back order
They want $387. Online thru gmpartsdirect its $187
They don't have a clue about how long it is going to b before they get the part
They said it could be months and are not sure that it is even the BCM
Any thoughts or suggestions. Again I had no problems just drove off driveway trucked rocked some what and died

Did you ever take apart the fuse box (remove the fuse block from the bottom of the box) to access the fuse block harness connectors?

 

Check trailer wiring where it passes near body and frame at back towards left side. Should see a harness that may be rubbing on body above bumper/frame. if and wiring damage found fix that first. Seen 2 with this problem and tough to diagnose until you've seen it.

 

the fix for this that ALL h3 owners should do NOW is unhook the factory cable clip on the frame. it keeps the cable tight on frame and it wears thru!! just push up till its free and its done. i did mine when new.
