Towing Capacity H3

Towing Capacity H3
Hi All,
Actively looking for a 2007-2010 H3 (non Alpha) for work (towing about a 2k trailer) and PLAY (towing a 3.4k boat). I just need to know if it can do the job before pulling the trigger.
(btw, boat: 2004 Monterey 200LS 5.0)
According to specs, the boat is about 3400 pounds dry (not sure with or w/o the trailer). So I'm thinking that with a full tank, 4 adults, I might be shooting beyond the stated capacity of the H3 (4500 pounds).
We don't go anywhere but Saguaro or Canyon lakes - less than an hour away with only a few small hills.
Will the H3 be adequate for this kind of weight/stress?
Suggestions?

I have hauled more myself it does the job but would not recommend it usually you can get away with a ton over but this would negate any warranties. believe the manufactore always underrate their equiptment a bit knowing people like myself are going to push it to the limit & then some. I usually stay 1 ton or under over the limit anything after that I pull out the big guns F350

So.. I understand it's not going to pull 4500lbs at 65 up a mountain. But what have you experienced when towing?
Currently, I tow the boat with a 2003 Astro:
4.3/190hp @ 4400 rpm
250torque@2800rpm
3:42 gears
As I understand, the H3 (2007 and newer) is this:
The H3 sports:
242hp @5600rpm
242tq @4600rpm
4:56 gears
Currently, I tow the boat with a 2003 Astro:
4.3/190hp @ 4400 rpm
250torque@2800rpm
3:42 gears

You should be good. The trailer is about another 800-1000lbs and you only want to go a short distance. The H3 is rated at 4500 but I'm sure you can tow a good 5000lbs, just not easily or economically.

I'll certainly be babying it being at/beyond capacity. My main concern is that I haven't done this with an H3 and not quite sure what to expect. Drove an '08 Tahoe LTZ in a past life and had no problem using OD.
With the torque of the H3 such that I can still do 50mph on a 1/2 mile 7-10% grade without putting my foot thru the floorboard? (Yes, definitely using lower gears etc.)
Really like to hear from a redneck that didn't blow his rig trying this..
Thanks

2007 H3 with Performance (Air Doc Intake, PP TB, PCMofNC.com tune and Efan conversion, MagnaFlow Cat Back exhaust) and Off Road mods (weighs almost 6000# with me in it) on 305 MTZs. The boat, Chaparral 2330 7.4L Big Block with Bravo 3 dive and tandem axle trailer appx. 5,500#, hauled from south of Milwaukee back to NE of Detroit (appx 425 miles one way).
Tucked in behind a semi, 70MPH all the way (65 hp the big hills and 75 down the other side). Beating feet heading out of West MI as the sun sets.
Would not recommend that, do not want to do it again, but the truck did everything I asked of it and got the job done.
Your boat is lighter, and your distances shorter. I brought that boat home solo with some tools and a floor jack. Load your truck up with 3 people and all your stuff, you will be overloaded too.

I think everyone missed that he will also be towing a 2000lb trailer for work too. If that's everyday wear and tear on the poor I5, driveline and brakes will rear its ugly head much quicker than just towing a heavy load one in while.
