i really really hate to get into this again, really. my remote quit today and NOTHING EVER MENTIONED on this forum would fix it, nothing that i said or ANYBODY else. i did everything ever mentioned here, nothing. even after 30 min with batt cables shorted, nothing. removed the door sw assm from the truck, no help.
sometime either lock or unlock would work with a 2-4 second delay,very strange , never had it happen like that. one or the other but not both.

so i got in with the key, ran it, and all by itself, on its own time and terms, it started working. i have no explanation that makes sense.

oh , i tried my 4 remotes, no help.
now all is well!!,,,,till next time.

oh btw today i had a passenger for the first time this year,?? cant have effect right??

oh,once inside the manual switches worked, but not remotes

I am deeply offended by this personal attack on my character. i come here daily to help others and report my own personal experience as i did in this thread. i often spend hours looking up data from paper manuals or my downloaded svc info , to help strangers.

just where do these attackers come from and create totally erronious accusations.

to be clear,,, i demand a correction on this and other sarcastic remarks on my behavior.

nobody else gets this outrageous treatment and i have never made one personal remark about anyone on this forum.
some of these guys show up once a week and often troll for trouble or just make useless remarks.
i am here daily ,often to keep something new on a dead day.

i would like to see someone check out my last 10-20 posts for anything out of line or even close to the remarks made to me by people who seem to have nothing better to do.
i read every new thread and respond only where i have something useful always accurate,never made up, often researched for some time.

i am offended and insulted by people who have no valid reason whatever to be so nasty.

Hey guys, sorry to interrupt a weird argument or whatever it was. I assume the guy is talking about his door locks are messed up. The manual switches assume are the door switches inside. If your remotes aren't working for you I am no expert but I would think you have bad fuses or something or yer batteries are low. Unless you have a bad leak getting at your BCM?
