Back in Oct my wife bought an 06 H3, well here we are a few months and 3000ish miles later and have an oil leak. I took it to the shop down the street who I trust, because I don't have the time to deal with it right now. He called and told me the PCV valve which is built into the valve cover went bad, and therefore blew the valve cover gasket. Question 1, any truths to any of that? Question 2, if so where can I find a new valve cover? Thanks!!!

There's no pcv valve but there is a baffle built in. With out the baffle the oil can blow into the throttle body. It could get clogged as well. On the other side there is a hose that goes into the intake. The intake part is not serviceable and if clogged or cracked would require the intake to be replaced.

You may have a valve cover leak, but it would have nothing to do with a "PCV valve that went bad" because as was already said, there is no PCV valve.

There is a vent on the top of the valve cover at the rear of the motor, with a mesh baffle and it is not serviceable.
