Default Navigation and Onstar / Phone volume

I'm new here but, I figured I'd ask the pro's a question. I have a 2007 and I recently purchased a navigation off of ebay, the Navigation I bought was used and came out of a 2006, I was told by the dealer it would work without any problems.
The nav works great, only problem is since I swaped out my old factory radio for the navigation I noticed I can barely hear my phone when I dial through the car, and the Onstar connection is also very low. I have the volume on the navigation set to maximum. I know all these systems feed through the radio so I'm thinking maybe something is wrong with the navigation.
Any ideas?
Thanks

I have the OnStar phone service in my 08' Alpha and all I did was turn up the radio volume and that did the trick. Hopefully yours is the same otherwise press the Onstar button and ask them.

do you notice a high pitch sound from the car when your in high acceleration and utilizing onstar phone calls? we couldn't determine it for a while but after our phone call ended the noise ended. we tried another onstar call and the sound returned.

Thanks everyone. I did try to turn up the volume on the radio. It's up all the way and I still have low volume out of the onstar and phone. I thought maybe there was an amplifier that wasn't turning on, or maybe since the radio I bought was from an 06 that it might not be compatible or have some difference between those on an 07 causing the low volume.

I have absolutely no issues with my OnStar phone service. I've used it while driving slow and fast and it works just fine, clear as a bell.

I was told you could not add Nav unless your truck came with the Monsoon system. My dealer tried to add it to my Tatical and it did the same thing you are talking about. The door chimes were real loud also.
